LIFESAVERS
Life Savers (the company is one word, the candy two) had been around forever. To many, the brand had lost its flavor. So when LifeSavers launched a kid-friendly web site,
it sent this announcement to retailers.

How Does An 86-Year-Old
Capture The Attention And Minds
Of Today’s Youth?

You Make A Stand.

If you think an 86-year-old candy like Life Savers has lost its edge, think again.

We’re hitting today’s youth right where they live – on the Internet – with the first online candy stand ever created. And it’s opening a new vista for the company’s brands.

Candystand features a virtual sidewalk kiosk complete with a friendly vendor. Visitors can go to any of 10 branded areas simply by clicking on the candy displays. Each area features exciting graphics, logos, and games designed to enhance and reinforce brand identity.

At Candystand, visitors of all ages can
spend hours having a good time. They can play any of more than 20 interactive video games, enter a multitude of contests, solve crossword puzzles, even e-mail greeting cards to friends.
